The fall in Portland is a magical time of year! I love capturing children playing in the leaves. This family was so fun to photograph. Each child had a sweet personality and the love between siblings made my heart melt. My favorite photo is that open mouth smile, it was so joyful! Laurelhurst Park has a beautiful grove of trees with leaves that turn yellow-gold. Also the colors of the fall get reflected in the pond and it looks like a painting. The Fall is one of the best times of year for a family portrait session. Here in the Pacific Northwest, we have to grab the good weather before the winter comes and we will have to wait months before another outdoor session is possible.
